5Almost too easy  Oct 13, 2010 By hoondog
Ordered this harness not really knowing what to expect as the description was a little vague. Ended up being one of the easiest installs I have ever done. Simply unplug your existing factory harness at the 7 plug at your rear bumper and plug the two plugs (one male, one female) of the new harness into the factory plugs, then route the harness up to your desired plug location for your fifth wheel or gooseneck. drill your hole for your new 7 plug, plug it into the harness then use the screws (sent with the kit) to mount the new 7 plug to your bed. doesn't get much easier than that. It took me about 30 minutes to complete and I was in no hurry. Hope this helps someone. Enjoy!

1Unhappy  Mar 31, 2010 By Randy D. Skiver
I needed this part with short notice for my 99 Ford Super Duty and was told it would fit that model. I paid the overnight shipping fees and when it arrived it wouldn't fit the wiring ends in my truck. I ended up cutting my harness and fitting it into the vehicle to make it work but was unhappy that it wasn't a direct plug in as I was told when ordering. Use caution when ordering.

5Wireing harness,plug and Go!  Jan 16, 2012 By downtime8763
Ran harness along inside of tire well, zip tied it to frame and other harness locations. Used electrical grease on connections before installing in factory ends, unplugged harness from hitch, plugged in y connector and Done!

4Fits perfect  Aug 18, 2011 By Perez
Easy plug and play adapter for trailer lights. Super easy to install. Plastic lid holds plug well but have to really push to get the plug in all the way.

5Easy install  Jul 24, 2010 By Michael
This unit is exactly what it says it is. I had it installed, including cutting a hole in the bed in less than30 minutes. Long cable and plenty of zip ties make for a clean installation.
