Easy to Install, Great Protection Oct 13, 2009

These 4 sill protectors for Dodge Ram 1500 quad cab installed in less than 10 minutes, and they look like they're factory installed. They match the Dodge factory door sill materials very well, and extend the protection over the painted edge, down over the sill to almost where the door covers the bottom side. Well worth the Amazon $34 price tag (free shipping). Highly recommended, especially for truck owners or heavy use vehicles.

I completely agree with the other reviewer that these sill protectors look like they're factory installed. The top is outlined and matches the Dodge factory door sill and extend the protection over the painted edge, down over the sill to almost where the door covers the bottom side. The color match is excellent too.
That said, my gut react when I received these was that they could have been a tad bit longer since they do not protect the full length of the sill. However, it turns out that for all practical purposes they work very well and this is not an issue.
Before I found these, I was planning to have a local shop "Scotch Guard" the 4 sills with transparent film. That would have been close to 3 times the cost of these, and in retrospect I think these Vendshade protectors are both better looking and more durable than a thin film. Great product!
