it IS a better filter Feb 12, 2009
By B. Poon i haven't tried enough air filter to make a good comparison. but just to replace the cone filter that came with the cold air induction kit for my 530i, i can tell the faster throttle response and more low end torque.

By MacMaster I feel like it did added a few more horsepower even though I'm using the stock piping, it really is a great filter although you may think it looks kinda cheap, because it does.
