"It's a Jeep thing"
This catalytic converter was an easy fit to the dynomax cat back system that I bought. The converter is well made and comes at an affordable price. I would definately recommended this cat for all the Jeep Cherokee XJ owners.

Pretty good for the price Nov 18, 2011
By Alan I have had this on my 96 Cherokee for over a year now. It has a lot of surface rust at this point (Was shiny and new when I originally received it) as with any exhaust component that's been on this long. However its still solid, no rattling and as far as I can tell is going to last quite a few years yet.
Pros: Good price, durable, still going after over a year.. Has O2 sensor bung.
Cons: none really

Catalytic Converter Oct 30, 2011
By tmeranda This replaced my factory Catalytic Converter that was bad, it was a direct replacement and even had a bung already welded in for my 02 sensor. I would recommend this to anyone who is needing a new Catalytic Converter.

This cat-verter works as it should...easy install once I managed to separate the original 14-year old one from the jeep...sheesh...Next time I will reach for the cut-off wheel and the air chisel right away instead of after a couple of hours swinging heavy objects and assorted implements of destruction attempting to knock that sucker off the crimped exhaust.
