great shifter! only a few issues... Feb 01, 2011
By david issues: if you have clammy hands, as I often do in southern texas, the shifting becomes sloppy... otherwise it has a great classic look that gets a lot of positive comments. I got it as a gift from my fiance and I couldn't have asked for more!
NICE!!!! Mar 19, 2010
By JT I was pleased with this knob, as the last one I bought on amazon was cheaper "and you can tell" I have this on my Corvette now. Its a clean looking and pretty big as thats what I was wanting. But yes its a pretty good deal.
The Only One! Feb 11, 2010
By C. Scott Hurst is the only shifter on the market; especially for an old timer like me. In the days of muscle cars and back road racing, if it wasn't Hurst you weren't allowed in the "staging area". Great product and the service through Amazon was "right on". By the way, that white knob looks great in that all black Corvette interior.

Where's the jam nut? Sep 02, 2008

"car nut"
You really can't mess up a shift knob, no moving parts. This is a high quality knob that looks great on my Artic White Corvette. However, there was no jam nut included in the package. You need this nut as the stock knob doesn't use one. My knob was new, but came from the Amazon returns center. Maybe that explains the missing jam nut.
