2008 CR-V - Easy Installation Nov 08, 2008

I purchased this for my 2008 CR-V. Overall, I think this item is fantastic. Some observations:
1) There is enough room in between the shield and the car hood for you to reach your hands in between to wipe.
2) NO TAPE. Installed onto current screw/holes in the hood. No drilling involved.
3) Reason I only gave this 4 stars, it is small, but I noticed it. The surface of the deflector is not completely smooth. So under good lighting, you can see the "distortion".
4) ALSO, it was mentioned in one of the CR-V forums.... after installation, if you look at it from the front, you will noticed the driver side, corner is just slightly "off". Again, it is small, but noticeable. The link to the forum:

OVERALL, very happy w/ the product. Looks good and easy to clean, installed w/o any problems.

This product fits great, low profile and areodynamic compared to the one straight from Honda with 1/3 the cost

Absolutely no regrets with this deflector. Well made and easily installed. Took no more than 15 minutes - even reading the instructions. All parts were included and instructions were clear. The only thing I do not care for is the manufacturers logo etched on the front, however not noticeable from a distance. They include a raised logo sticker to place over the etching but I chose not to use it.
Could not see why anyone would pay $130 for the Honda OEM deflector. I would recommend this to anyone.

This item came with no instructions. Furthermore, the item and the hardware nearly fell out of the box because it was not taped securely before shipment. The screws etc. scattered all over my garage. I have been unable to figure out how to attach the deflector to my hood and it is too cumbersome to send back. I am very unsatisfied with this purchase and will not use this store again.
