By steve54 Took less than 5 minutes to install. Fit perfect. Noticed an increase in performance when accelerating. Seems to be a increase in mpg but its to early to tell since its only been a month since I installed the filter. I own a 2007 miata.

I PUT THIS AIR FILTER IN MY 2009 MIATA WITH AUTO TRANS. IT TOOK SOME WORK BIT FINALLY WENT IN. I THINK THE GAS MILEAGE WENT UP SOME PUT AS FOR PERFORMANCE I CANNOT TELL AS THE CAR IS NOT HIGH PERFORMANCE TO BEGIN WITH. IT IS ON THE EXPENSIVE SIDE. THE VERDICT--IT MAY HELP BUT IS DOES NOT HURT. IF YOU HAVE A FEW EXTRA DOLLARS GIVE IT A TRY.

By jimhuey Installed the K&N filter in my 2011 Miata. A good fit. I have used the K&N filter many times. I have it in all my vehicles now..4 autos and 2 motorcycles. Like the fit and the ease of cleaning and reusing. A good price from Amazon. Amazon had the fitment updated for the 2011 model before K&N did.

I purchased this filter for a 2008 MX-5 and the installation was very easy. The filter was the perfect size for the airbox and I'm sure it will do a great job filtering.
