Although the motor layout seems to be the same for the 2005-09 models of the 4.0L V6, the papers in the box clearly states that it is made for the 2005 model.
I still got it to fit, but when it came down to bolting up the engine cover, the screws didnt match up, had to custom it here and there to fit, but once done, oh man!!!!! The power is insane!!! Its a shame this one isnt street/smog/C.A.R.B. legal.
Bought this with next day shipping as i am a PRIME Member on amazon.com, i ordered it late monday evenning, they processe the order Tuesday and shipped, and i received the product on wednesday, for a little over $200!
You cant go wrong with the price there as ordering from K&N, this product is over $320
Same as the auto parts dealer, they sell it over $300

Easy Install, Item works as described!!! Nov 12, 2007

Installed this product in about two hours. I spent quite a bit of time on one of the hose clamps that I broke; otherwise, it would have been quicker. My truck sounds great. I'm handy with tools, but I'm not a pro.
I am still on my first tank full of gas so I don't feel I have had enough time to give you a credible mileage improvement estimate, but if the company is right, I should get at least 4 mpg more than I do now ... and boy do I need the improvement!
I wish it would have been clearly stated that this product is not street legal in California though. I'm told I may have to reinstall the original air box when I go to have my truck smogged.
